Dionysos / Bacchus
Dionysos (the bronze sculpture of the Greek god of wine)
This statue was made by the Italian painter and sculptor Sandro Chia. A second Chia sculpture - the Roman god of wine "Bacchus" can be seen in the quarter of Fessenbach. Both sculptures were donated to the town in 1984 by the honorary citizen of Offenburg, Senator Dr. Franz Burda.
